King Day of Service 2021: Signature Site Planning Meeting
On January 18, 2021 volunteers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware will participate in the 26th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, the largest King Day event in the nation. Last winter, more than 150,000 people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the Philadelphia region volunteered in some 1,800 service projects.
Each year Global Citizen organizes the King Day of Service Signature Site event. Girard College will again be the host of the 2021 King Day of Service Signature Site event. We are hosting several planning meetings for our Girard College Signature Site event where staff will provide information about organizing projects at the site and assist coordinators in the development of their projects. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these meetings will all be hosted online.
