Read-A-Loud Recording
Read-A-Long Video Submission
Global Citizen, in partnership with the Read by 4th Campaign, is seeking videos of volunteers reading their favorite children’s book. Especially seeking books with the theme of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., civic engagement and civil rights. The stories will be available on YouTube and shared with families.
The video recording should display you holding the book in your hand, or with the book on your screen while you read.
Please follow these steps to ensure a great project submission:

Choose 2-5 (or more!) books that you would like to read

Set up Zoom and press record (make sure you download this to your computer)

Once the video(s) is on your computer, please edit (if necessary)

Send to Send to mlkdayofservice@globalcitizen365.org with the title of the book and grade level
These videos will be uploaded to a virtual library for the enjoyment of the youth. Be as animated and excited as possible! The goal is to capture the children’s attention and make this an enjoyable and educational experience.
