"Revitalize Our Rec" Project
Help us Revitalize our Rec, Create Good Vibes & Make More Memories.
On Monday, January 16th – Let your creativity & positivity be your activism. It’s important our center remain a safe, secure & clean space for our youths, programs and the community we serve. In honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s Legacy, the Marian Anderson Staff, Coaches, Program Volunteers, and Participants will be gathering together to Revitalize our Recreation Center. Volunteers who register will be assigned & assist with various Room Refresh projects with in our center (i.e. Lobby & Entryway, Boxing Gym, Karate Room, AfterSchool, Auditorium and Basketball Gym, etc.)
Activities include, but are not limited to organizing, cleaning, painting, and disposing items. PLEASE plan to arrive at 10:30am. Volunteer Participants will have an opportunity to Sign in, Snack & Socialize prior to getting assignments for the day. We will be begin the Room Refresh Projects at 11:00am and anticipate ending the day at 3:00pm.
Volunteers will receive a Light Breakfast & Lunch. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
