Historic Fair Hill
On MLK Day, January 16, from 10AM to 12 Noon, volunteers will pick up trash and debris, move broken tree limbs to the cart way, and move compost if time allows. Please note that this is an all outdoor activity so dress for the weather. Children are welcome with parental supervison. Trash bags will be provided, and we have some gloves. If you do have work gloves, please do bring them. Historic Fair Hill is located at the corner of Germantown Ave and Cambria Street. There are gates to the property on Cambria Street and Indiana Street. Sign in will be on the Indiana Street side. At the close of the event, there is a ceremnony honoring Dr. King, where people read quotes from his speeches and sing freedom songs.
