MLK Day of Service Thomas Mifflin School - Grounds and Facilities Spruce Up
Friends of Mifflin is hosting a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service at Thomas Mifflin School. Every year we aim to make on campus improvements. This year, we will have a number of projects to choose from:
- Front Office and Staff Lounge Improvements (painting and cosmetic improvements; skill level: professional and experienced DIY preferred.)
- School and Grounds Spruce Up (Help us clean up and reset for the new year both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting; skill level: ANYONE!)
Children are welcome to attend with a participating adult! There will be a brief lesson about the importance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and a service project for kids to work on. Please indicate if children will be attending with you when signing up to volunteer.
We request that volunteers who are able to bring their own shovel and gardening gloves to support our grounds work are asked to do so.
