MLK Day of Service at Julia Ward Howe Elementary
We are in our 4th year of the MLK Day of Service event at Howe! This year we are looking for volunteers to help us paint, clean up and organize our school for our students. We have some great opportunities for individuals or small groups to come to our school. We are looking for the following projects:
- Paint murals
- Clean out closets
- Organize materials
- Move furniture around the building
- Make signs welcoming families in multiple languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese)
This event will be on January 20 from 10-1pm. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to attend and support our school!
