"Crafting for MLK"
During the event, volunteers will crochet, knit, or weave 4" x 4" bonding squares, or 7" x 7" squares to create lap blankets. In addition, they will crochet or knit hats for newborn babies, and have an opportunity to participate in "Make & Take" activities, and to engage in conversations regarding "Dr. King's commitment to Civil Rights through education equity.
