The purpose of the Foster Grandparent Program is to connect generation by providing volunteer service that addresses critical community needs. To create meaningful relationships with special needs children by providing love, encouragement and companionship on a one-on-one basis. To provide extra care and attention to special needs children to improve their physical, mental, emotional and social development by helping them reach their maximum potential and become as independent as possible. To provide services to children in elementary school, daycare, Head Start, and human service settings.
