Toiletry Drive for Rap Athl-Eats Program at Penn Wood High School
The Penn Wood High School Home & School Association is partnering with the Resource Pantry (Rap Athl-Eats Program) at Penn Wood High School for an MLK Day of Service Project to stock the pantry with donations of hygiene products. Rap Athl-Eats Program was designed to tackle food insecurity within William Penn School District. It provides a free student resource pantry filled with food, drinks, and hygiene products. Currently, the pantry is in need of toiletries/hygiene products, not food. Hygiene/toiletry donations can be body soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, mouthwash, deodorant, body lotion, hair care products, laundry detergent, and feminine products. Donations will be accepted at Penn Wood HIgh School between 8 am and 1 pm on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. Penn Wood High School students and staff will package the toiletries on MLK Day for easier distribution at the pantry during the school year.
