Free Family Digital Literacy Clinic

Free IT/Cybersecurity Clinic connecting our families to free open source platforms safely!! We will be at the Nicetown Tioga libray 3720 N Broad St.

We are in need of volunteers to help host a free IT/Clinic where families will choose a refurbished computer and parts. We will then open the computer, take the computer apart and put back together. We will then test the computer to make sure that it is running correctly. Before installing a free trial of antivirus protection that the families will have to pay for once the trail is over.

 

We will then help families set up age appropiate Roblox accounts and share resource for free open source platforms that expose video game development, IT and Cybersecurity certifications.

Pa criminal and child abuse clearance are required to volunteer.
