“HBCU Love” Care Packages
Did you know almost 40% of Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Students face Food Insecurity?
On Monday, January 15th – You're invited to lend your helping hands. We're honoring the legendary Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his Dedication for Educational Equity, by launching our "HBCU Love" Care Package Project! Fun Fact: Dr. King was a graduate of Morehouse College. In continuing his tradition of supporting HBCUs, we're ensuring these scholars have the sustenance they need to thrive throughout their academic studies.
Our “HBCU Love” Care Packages are packed with Essential Snacks to keep students Fueled, Focused and Feeling Good. Our care packages, thanks to the support and donations of the community, will contain an assortment of 35 individually wrapped snacks, well-known brands of chips, cookies, candies, bars, popcorn, crackers and a few items highlighting black-owned food options and more. Plus, we're quenching thirsts by adding in refreshing drinks, too!
If you're passionate about HBCUs and Supporting Young People this is the Perfect Volunteer Opportunity for you! HBCU Alumni & Enthusiasts, Individuals, Families, and Small Groups are All Welcome to Participate.
*Activities include, but are not limited to Collecting, Sorting and Packaging items.

- Graduated from Morehouse College, an HBCU based in Atlanta, Georgia
- Attended: 1944 | Graduated: 1948 with a B.A. in Sociology | Age: 19
- A Notable Member of Alpha Phi Alpha, one of the Black Greek Letter Organizations
