Help Assemble “Civic Engagement Starter Kits”! (Signature Project)
This MLK Day, join us in empowering Philadelphians to engage more deeply with their local government. Following the energy of the recent federal election, this project shifts the focus to local engagement, helping residents influence their neighborhoods and city.
Help us assemble Civic Engagement Starter Kits: Understanding How Philly Works, a hands-on project designed to provide accessible, actionable tools for understanding and navigating Philadelphia’s government. These kits are part of a broader effort to expand the reach of the How Philly Works brand as a trusted resource for civic education.
With your help, we’ll prepare 500 kits in just two hours, using existing materials to maximize impact. Together, we can broaden our reach, build trust, and inspire sustained local involvement—one kit at a time.
