Dr King's Dream - Social Justice Matters and REAL Parents x SPF
Come be a part of the Social Justice Matters and REAL Parents x SPF multi-year project creating opportunities for individuals and families with school-aged children (ages 5+) in our community to share and record up to five minutes of video expressing what Dr King's legacy means to you today. We are using these recordings to build an archive that we can reference to see how our community's perspectives have changed over time.
Some sample prompts you could use are below. More will be available.
- What does Dr King's Dream mean to you?
- What is a conviction or belief you have that you believe is worth marching for?
- What would you contribute to the world to earn a Nobel Peace Prize?
Pre-registration is required. Please bring a drivers license or other form of government-issued ID to enter the JCC building. Check in at the membership desk and they will direct you to the room where our activity is taking place.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 5+, Minimum Age:18+
