MLK Day of Service

The George Washington Carver Community Center's mission is to provide, foster, and encourage recreation, education, and principles of good citizenship among the youth adults of the community in order to improve their minds, morals, and bodies for the betterment of themselves and consequently of the Community, State and Nation. We will incorporate new programs as deemed necessary for the advancement and growth of the community.

Our lovely 62 year old structure has been participating in the MLK Day of Service for many years now and it has been very successful.  We appreciate everyone coming in to assist with the beautification of our building's upkeep.  

Things that we are requesting are; 

1) cleaning

2) painting

3) exterior repairs and cleaning to the building

4) organization
