King Day Reflection - Rally for Justice and Peace: End Gun Violence
The Cecil B. Moore Philadelphia Freedom Fighters and the Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity and "57 Blocks" project invite all to attend and participate in discussions around ending gun violence and promoting a healthier living environment. Learn the history of Cecil B. Moore Esq., the fight to desegregate Girard College, and open doors to employment, education, housing, fighting police brutality, the activists involved and how it relates to present day challenges. "57 Blocks" project to reduce gun violence is a place-based strategy through the targeted investment of resources, services, and environmental improvements as gun violence is a racial justice issue. This initiative and the committed frontline heroes are engaging with the youth everyday and evening. Join the Black Clergy and "57 Blocks" project in this teaching session for a better and safer Philadelphia. There will be question and answers, discussions and let's not forget entertainment.
