King Day of Service
Every year on MLK Day the George Washington Carver Community Center participates in Kings Day of Service.
This year we will participate in a Carver and Community Clean Up Day which will consist of taking down the Center’s Christmas Decorations and cleaning up the surrounding community which includes the blocks surrounding the Center as well as Oak Street Park.
We will have refreshments and supply gloves, rakes, and trash bags to those wishing to participate.
Meet us at 930am to have light refreshments and introductions before we start our clean up at 10am.
